1． This Saturday (MAY 1) ACSGD has Chinese classes as normal. Please pay attention to the start link sent by each class teacher and log in to the zoom meeting room on time. If you have not received the link and other information, please contact our academic affairs department before the class: Chinese.firstname.lastname@example.org. According to the school calendar, May 8th (next Saturday): NO SCHOOL DAY. Please pay attention to the schedule.
2． Last Saturday (April 24) the school-level speech contest was successfully concluded. Many students who participated in the contest have a good performance, and I would like to express my warm congratulations to all of them! Due to the epidemic, this year’s speech contest is also held online, which also makes this organization more difficult. 3． At present, the summer culture class of ACSGD is under preparation, the following courses have been confirmed to be launched soon, so please stay tuned!
4． The registration for 4th Global Chinese Recitation Competition has ended on April 25th.A total of 25 students from our school has signed up for the competition. I wish them all good results!
5． As a Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi Site (Chinese Proficiency Test) in Michigan, ACSGD successfully held the first home-based online test for nearly 80 candidates in December 2020. According to the requirements of some candidates, it is planned to be held a second home on-line test one June 5, 2021. The test levels include: HSK1, HSK2, HSK3, HSK4, HSK5, HSK6, YCT1, YCT2, YCT 3, YCT4. 6． May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month in USA. The "One book one world" event in Michigan has been officially launched on April 9. The event hope to donate books, through fundraising and volunteer online Reading and other activities, to public schools of MI, in purpose of spreading the sparkle of Asian culture to local K-12 campus of Michigan. As a platform for Chinese cultural exchanges and community interaction, ACSGD and the event organizers of the "One Book, One World" jointly pay attention to the spread of Asian-Pacific culture. 7． The ACSGD will set up an online duty room during class time every Saturday. The principal, academic affairs department, and registration department team members will answer questions online through this zoom duty room. If you have any questions, please come directly to log in this online duty room for on-site communication and consultation.

8． In order to ensure the normal teaching order and learning effect during the online course, ACSGD recommends that all students should be able to cooperate with the teacher's requirements and turn on the camera during the online course study time. This is more conducive to teacher-student interaction, and also allows teachers to supervise the children's learning status. But please note that if you are a new student of our school and have not yet signed the relevant agreement, please contact our academic department before the class (sent email to Chinese.email@example.com and request the agreement works) and we need every student sign the relevant online course agreement before you log in to the on-line classes.
